Robert L. Allbritton
Executive Chairman, Co-Founder
Robert L. Allbritton is Executive Chairman and a co-founder of Perpetual Capital Partners. He is an experienced investor, entrepreneur and senior executive, who has founded, invested in, and led numerous startups and operating businesses.
Robert has co-founded and owned multiple successful media ventures including: POLITICO, the leading global news and information company focused on politics and policy; POLITICO Europe, a joint venture between POLITICO and Axel Springer; and Protocol Media, a news publication focused on the people, power and politics of the technology industry. He served as Chairman and CEO of Allbritton Media (now POLITICO Media Group), and was Publisher of both POLITICO and Protocol Media from their inception until they were acquired by Axel Springer. Previously, Robert was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Allbritton Communications Company, a family-owned media company that owned and operated seven ABC-affiliated broadcast stations, including WJLA in Washington, D.C., and News Channel 8, a 24-hour local news cable programming service and website in the Washington metropolitan area.
Robert continues to serve on the Board of Directors of POLITICO Media Group, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Lyndon B. Johnson Foundation, Austin, Texas. He is a Trustee Emeritus and graduate of Wesleyan University, where he majored in government.

Duncan L. Evans is Chief Executive Officer and a co-founder of Perpetual Capital Partners. He is an experienced operating executive with a focus on developing business strategy, building senior leadership teams, executing results-driven management, leading strategic transformations, and accelerating corporate growth. He has extensive experience with strategic transactions including mergers and acquisitions, business partnerships, joint ventures, debt and equity capital financings, and growth equity and venture capital investments.
Duncan has served on various corporate boards and is currently a member of the board of directors of Politico Media Group and the board of Politico Europe. He is also Chairman of the board of directors of California Family Fitness.
Duncan was President and a board member of Politico Media Group (formerly Allbritton Media) where he oversaw the group operations of Politico, Politico Europe, Agency IQ, E&E News, and Protocol Media. He was a co-founder and board member of the Politico Europe joint venture with Axel Springer and a co-founder of Protocol Media. Previously, Duncan was a Managing Partner of DCTX Holdings, LLC, a private investment and consulting firm. He was Executive Vice President and General Manager at Revolution Money, a venture-backed alternative payments startup, and he ran the Strategic Development organization throughout the Americas at Experian, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic client relations, and new market expansion. Duncan was a Vice President and Principal at Lehman Brothers Merchant Banking, where he focused on leveraged buyouts and growth equity investments. Duncan started his career in investment management and financial advisory services.
Duncan graduated cum laude from Middlebury College and received an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Robert Sjoberg is Managing Director at Perpetual Capital Partners. He focuses on sourcing and evaluating new platform and add-on acquisition opportunities and working with the operating companies to accelerate growth and improve operations. He has also taken on a variety of interim management roles to lead special projects and support our operating businesses through periods of transition. Robert has served on number of boards including Allbritton Media, the parent company of Politico, Politico Europe, Agency IQ, E&E News, and Protocol Media. Robert currently serves on the board of California Family Fitness.
Prior to joining Perpetual Capital in 2014, Robert worked at Revolution Growth, where he was active in sourcing and executing investments in software, internet, and consumer sectors. Previously, Robert was a member of the UBS Technology Investment Banking Group, where he executed mergers and acquisitions and capital market transactions in internet, software, and communications technology sectors.
Robert received his B.S. in Accounting and a Masters in Accounting from Brigham Young University.
