• Robert L. Allbritton Executive Chairman, Co-Founder

    Robert L. Allbritton is Executive Chairman and a co-founder of Perpetual Capital Partners. He is an experienced investor, entrepreneur and senior executive, who has founded, invested in and led numerous startups and operating businesses. Robert is Executive Chairman & Publisher and a co-founder of POLITICO, a global news and information company focused on the intersection of politics and policy. Previously, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Allbritton Communications Company, a family owned media company that owned and operated seven ABC-affiliated broadcast stations, including WJLA in Washington, D.C., and also News Channel 8, a 24-hour local news cable programming service and website in the Washington metropolitan area.

    Robert serves on the Board of Directors of the Lyndon B. Johnson Foundation, Austin, Texas, and is a Trustee Emeritus of Wesleyan University. He is a graduate of Wesleyan University, where he majored in government.

    Robert is a member of the Alfalfa Club, Metropolitan Club and University Club in Washington, D.C., the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club in La Jolla, California, and Annabel’s in London, England. He is an avid skier and a licensed pilot.

    Duncan L. Evans is a co-founder of Perpetual Capital Partners, and serves as its President & Chief Investment Officer. He is an experienced private equity investor and operating executive with specific expertise in middle market acquisitions, business strategy, managing corporate transitions and accelerating corporate growth. Duncan was a Managing Partner of DCTX Holdings, LLC, a lower middle market private investment firm, and has provided transaction consulting and interim management services to numerous private equity and venture capital firms and their portfolio companies. He serves and has served on the board of a number of companies including POLITICO, POLITICO Europe, Garden Fresh Restaurants, and InDemand Interpreting.

    Previously, Duncan was Executive Vice President and General Manager at Revolution Money, a venture-backed alternative payments startup that was sold to American Express. He ran the Strategic Development organization throughout the Americas at Experian, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and new market entry strategies. Duncan was a Principal at Lehman Brothers Merchant Banking, where he focused on leveraged buyouts and growth equity investments.

    Duncan graduated cum laude from Middlebury College and received an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

    Mark Gilbreth is a senior member of the corporate development team at Perpetual Capital Partners, working closely with our existing operating companies and overseeing new acquisition opportunities. He brings over twenty years of middle market experience to Perpetual Capital as a private equity investor, senior operating executive, and turnaround management specialist.

    Prior to joining Perpetual Capital, Mark was a managing director in Deloitte’s Corporate Restructuring Group (CRG), focused on middle market turnaround and performance improvement consulting. Prior to Deloitte CRG, Mark spent five years as chief financial officer for a middle market transportation company. He began his career in investment banking, most recently as a director in mergers and acquisitions.

    Mr. Gilbreth holds a bachelor’s degree from Claremont McKenna College. He has an MBA in finance and accounting from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a master’s degree in economics from the University of Southern California. Mark is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

    Kathy M. Hanna is corporate counsel at Perpetual Capital Partners. She is an experienced attorney with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, corporate law and corporate governance.

    Prior to joining Perpetual Capital, Kathy was Senior Counsel at EchoStar Corporation and was an attorney in the mergers and acquisitions and private equity practice of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver and Jacobson.

    Kathy graduated summa cum laude, Honors Baccalaureate from Virginia Tech and received a J.D. from New York University.

    Robert Sjoberg is an experienced private investor and senior member of the corporate development team at Perpetual Capital Partners. He focuses on sourcing and evaluating new acquisition opportunities, and working with the operating companies to accelerate growth and improve operations. He has also taken on a variety of interim management roles to lead special projects and support our operating businesses through periods of transition.

    Prior to joining Perpetual Capital, Robert worked in venture capital at Revolution Growth, where he was active in sourcing and executing investments in software, internet, and consumer sectors. Previously, Robert was a member of the UBS Technology Investment Banking Group, where he executed mergers and acquisitions and capital market transactions in internet, software, and communications technology sectors.

    Robert received his B.S. in Accounting and a Masters in Accounting from Brigham Young University.
